Douglas A. Grose, Ph.D., currently serves as an Independent Director and management and technology consultant for semiconductor businesses and investor groups. Doug retired as CEO of GLOBALFOUNDRIES in 2011.
Formerly, he was the Senior Vice President of technology development and manufacturing and supply chain at AMD.
Prior to working at
AMD, Doug held a position at IBM as a General Manager for the technology development and manufacturing systems group.
He previously served as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NanoTech Resources in Albany NY as well as the Chief Operating Officer of Hitachi Global Storage Technologies.
Doug spent 23 years working at IBM in the technology products division. Doug earned his doctorate degree in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1980.
