Dr. Ankur Bindal is the President and Co-Founder of the Southern California-based Aroga Group, a diversified organization focused on residential and commercial real estate investing, development, management, and long-term holdings. Founded in 2020, Aroga Group reflects its strategic vision, operational leadership, and ability to scale businesses
across complex markets while maintaining disciplined growth and a strong organizational culture.
In addition to his real estate leadership, Dr. Bindal is the founder of KAB Medical Group, also known as KMG Psychiatry, an integrative psychiatry practice serving San Diego and Los Angeles. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of KMG for nearly a decade, guiding the organization through sustained expansion before transitioning full-time into his role at Aroga Group.
Ankur Bindal is a board-certified psychiatrist and sleep specialist whose clinical career was marked by both depth and innovation. He provided comprehensive psychiatric care through medication management and counseling while also integrating advanced treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and intranasal ketamine therapy. His clinical philosophy centered on combining evidence-based medicine with emerging modalities to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.
Dr. Bindal gained international recognition for his expertise in brain stimulation therapies, particularly Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. His work included treating professional athletes, physicians, executives, and patients from underserved communities worldwide. TMS is a noninvasive outpatient treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate targeted brain regions and is often used when traditional antidepressant therapies have failed.
Dr. Ankur was named a Diamond Circle Provider, a distinction awarded to the highest volume TMS practices nationwide. In 2023, he received both the Outstanding Leadership Award and the Outstanding Corporation Award from Health Conference 2.0. Ankur Bindal earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in Chandigarh, India, and later completed a Master of Public Health in clinical research and behavioral sciences. His residency training included Family Medicine and Adult Psychiatry, followed by fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at the University of Michigan. He is board-certified and holds fellowships in psychiatry and sleep medicine.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Bindal actively supports charitable organizations, including schools, military affiliates, the YMCA, the Red Cross, and healthcare initiatives.
