Dr. Jon Lawrie has been a founder, president, CEO, or director at many successful companies including: Codon, Inc., Amoco Corp., Cardiovascular Diagnostics, Inc., Aldagen, Abrovax, Inc., BD Technologies, and Roche Diagnostic Systems. He has raised funding for startups totaling over $50 million in angel and VC capital. He has led many startups to
exit by acquisition, licensing, and IPO. Dr. Lawrie has also been a board member at the Blue Ridge Entrepreneurial Council, NC Biotechnology Center, NC BIO Research Triangle Park, and NC Biotechnology Roundtable. His PhD in Microbiology and Immunology is from the University of Washington.
