Drew Ladner, Founder and CEO, Pascal Metrics, Washington, DC. Drew Ladner is founding chairman & chief executive officer of Pascal Metrics, whose patient safety solutions benefit hundreds of leading healthcare organizations worldwide. A longtime pioneer in the industry, Pascal today is a leading innovator in the measurement and reduction of
patient harm using real-time clinical data. Prior to founding Pascal Metrics, Drew was general manager at JBoss, the leading open source middleware leader [acquired by Red Hat]. Until 2004, he was chief information officer of the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s $2.6 billion IT organization. He led three e-government interagency committees, testified to Congress on cyber security, and was a Federal 100 awardee. Drew has worked in early stage ventures such as Netscape, large corporations such as AOL Time Warner, strategy consulting in emerging markets, and micro-enterprise banking in East Africa. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Master’s of Arts in theology from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service in international economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Drew is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Health Innovators Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
