Ed Gillis has worked as a Business Consultant and Private Investor since January 2006. In 2009-2010, Ed was an Executive Advisor at Skype, where he was engaged by Silver Lake Partners in connection with that firm’s acquisition of Skype.
Previously, Ed was an interim Chief Financial Officer of Avaya Inc. Ed also served as Senior Vice President
of Administration and Integration at Symantec Corporation and he has held Chief Financial Officer positions at Veritas Software Corporation, Parametric Technology Corporation and Lotus Development Corporation.
Before joining Lotus, Ed was a Certified Public Accountant and Partner at Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P.
