Edward Wojtys is an Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Professor at the University of Michigan. Dr Wojtys has over 30 years of experience diagnosing, treating, and researching ACL injuries in humans, as well as performing pilot surgeries on sheep. His clinical and research interests revolve around knee injuries, treatment, and prevention. Dr.
Wojtys is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and received the 2016 Kappa Delta Award from the AAOS and the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS). He is the editor-in-chief of Sports Health: A Multidisciplinary Approach and co-chair of the NFL's Orthopaedic Research Committee.
