Elizabeth Denham is the UK Information Commissioner at the ICO in Cheshire. She took over the role from Christopher Graham (who concluded his tenure on 28 June 2016) in July 2016. Elizabeth previously held the title of Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia and was appointed to this role in May 2010. Prior to this, she had been
the Assistant Privacy Commissioner of Canada since 2007.
