Dr. Sheets joined CSA Medical, Inc. in July 2012. She brings to the company a broad range of experience within the medical diagnostic, device and pharmaceutical industries as well as more than 15 years in clinical and academic positions at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
Most recently, Dr. Sheets served as Chief
Medical Officer and Vice President of North American R&D at QIAGEN, Inc. where she led product development, clinical trial and constituency relations programs in developing novel diagnostic markers and instrument platforms.
Previously, she served as Chief Medical Officer at Predictive Biosciences, where she was instrumental in raising over $45M in venture support. From 2002-2008, Dr. Sheets was Chief Medical Officer at Hologic, Inc. (previously Cytyc Corporation), where she was responsible for medical education, clinical trials, advocacy, government affairs and reimbursement strategies. In this position she directly contributed to identifying and acquiring opportunities that grew top line revenue from $250M to over $750M.
She earned Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Michigan and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from New York University.
