Ellie earned her M.P.A. in Information Systems in 2018 and a B.S. in Environmental Management in 2016 from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
Growing up, Ellie and her family never stayed put. She spent time living in places like Mississippi, New York, St. Louis, Toronto and Ohio.
Ellie had some lofty career goals
as a child. At age 14, she planned to juggle 3 jobs: a "baby cleaner" (nurse who cleans newborn babies, but we like her title better), an auto mechanic and a hairdresser. Little did she know that The Bee Corp would give her an opportunity to work as hard as she planned.
The best piece of advice Ellie ever received came from her mentor Pat East. He said, "The hardest thing about doing anything is starting."
