After more than a decade in healthcare sales focused in radiology, Ms. Crane was recruited to be Ikonopedia’s vice president of sales and marketing. From the company’s perspective Ms. Crane’s considerable skills and market knowledge were added to the team as a part of Ikonopedia’s strategic market entry preparation. Ms. Crane viewed her new
position as the opportunity to work with luminary founders and a product that provides such a unique answer to many of the core issues facing healthcare today. “When I heard Ikonopedia described as ‘elegant’ and ‘graceful’ I was intrigued;” Emily noted. “When I met the founders and the experienced development team, I was hooked.”
Ms. Crane came to Ikonopedia from a key executive position with one of the nation’s foremost teleradiology providers. Prior to that engagement, Ms. Crane was a Research Director at KLAS Research, which provided her the opportunity to work intimately with high-level vendor and provider executives within the Radiology industry. At KLAS she led women’s health and other research efforts, working with professional organizations and publishing several relevant industry reports.
Prior to KLAS, Emily was a high level sales executive for a national recruiting firm, specializing in business development and placements of radiologists.
Like the rest of the executive team at Ikonopedia, Ms. Crane’s professional interests extend into her personal life. She is very active in local and national radiology advocacy and is the current president of her local chapter of RBMA, as well as volunteering with Radiologists Without Borders (a non-profit organization centered on providing radiology resources to underserved countries).
She is a Utah native and currently resides in Salt Lake City, where she is involved in efforts to increase mammography compliance rates across the state of Utah.
