Eric Hatzimemos. Chairman & CEO. Mr. Hatzimemos has been a trusted advisor to major companies for almost 20 years. He works with CEOs and leadership teams to provide strategic counsel and support on business matters, key objectives, and growth.
Mr. Hatzimemos co-founded H/L Ventures in 2009 with a focus on accelerating high-growth
companies. In addition to the private investment experience that Mr. Hatzimemos brings from his work leading H/L Ventures, he was previously a Senior Director at the global law firm of Greenberg Traurig LLP, where he advised the firm’s leadership concerning firm development. Mr. Hatzimemos also served as Managing Director at Giuliani Partners LLC, a management consulting firm based in New York City. Before that, Mr. Hatzimemos served as Assistant Counsel to former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani and served as the former Mayor’s representative on the Board Trustees of the New York City Police and Fire Pension Funds and the Employees Deferred Compensation Fund. Before that, he served as Assistant Criminal Justice Coordinator of the City of New York. Mr. Hatzimemos also served as an Assistant District Attorney in the borough of Brooklyn, New York.
Mr. Hatzimemos received his law degree from New York Law School in 1992 and he currently sits on the advisory board of New York Law School’s Center for New York City Law. Mr. Hatzimemos serves on the Advisory Board of Protect Our Power, which comprises experts from the power industry, the physical and cyber defense communities, and finance and government. The nonpartisan advisory panel has a single focus on strengthening the nation’s electrical power grid. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Resolution Project, Inc., a global youth leadership development non-profit organization. Mr. Hatzimemos has also completed executive-level coursework in private equity, pension management, and investment management at the Wharton School of Business and Harvard Business School.
