Johnson began to test the entrepreneurial waters at the age of eight when he started wiping excess hair cream from jars of his father's plant at Johnson Products Company. He moved on to become a Sales Representative for Proctor & Gamble where he acquired many useful business skills he could contribute to the family business. When he
returned to Johnson Products Company, he held several positions leading up to his being appointed Chief Executive Officer, Johnson Products Company in 1990. As CEO, he increased annual sales by over 50%. Today, he serves as the President and CEO of Baldwin Richardson Foods Company with corporate headquarters in Frankfort, Illinois and a plant located in Macedon, New York.
He received his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Eric G. Johnson received his Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Finance and Management at Babson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
