In 2022, Erik Lim founded Potluck Ventures, a community-driven VC investing in the next generation of breakout Asian founders. The firm's mission is to unify and uplevel the Asian community through intentional venture investing and community building.
Erik was most recently at Fifth Wall, the largest global venture capital firm (~$3B AUM)
focused on investing in technologies for the real estate industry. LPs consisted of 80+ of the largest real estate owners, operators, and developers that span across 15 countries. He primarily invested in growth-stage technology companies that benefited from Fifth Wall's unique ability to unlock distribution and/or commercial partnerships with the firm’s network of Strategic LPs/Corporates. Prior to Fifth Wall, Erik was on the investment team at JMI Equity and AXA Venture Partners.
Erik graduated with Honors from The Johns Hopkins University. During his time there, Erik competed on the Johns Hopkins Varsity Tennis Team and earned All-American Honors.
