He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Virginia specializing in signal processing and computer vision. Evan started his career creating unique software for new product form factors at
Hewlett-Packard. He developed hardware and software solutions for input technologies such as trackpads, touchscreens, and gesture controlled devices. He has filed multiple patents related to user interaction, including some of the intellectual property behind HP’s ControlZone trackpad and HP's Sprout Immersive PC.
