Fang Yi is a distinguished leader of the mobile communication industry with her 19 years’ experience of product R&D and management. Mrs. Fang served at Nokia for 13 years from a hardware engineer, a branch manager, a product project manager and finally, the Nokia GlobalVice President. She was the leader of Nokia’s smart phone research team in
China at two research centers located in Beijing and Taipei. From roadmap definition to concept study, product development, massive production and maintenance, Mrs. Fang was in whole charge of Nokia’s international market and its customization of the Lumia series for China. Mrs. Fang has extensive experience and proven credibility in building multi-cultural teams, leading strategic transformation, defining new development processes and cultivating innovative and pioneering spirits. As a recognized leader in hardware product research and development, Mrs. Fang led her team to design, develop and launch Nokia’s most successful phone in the history－Lumia 520, with 26 million shipments in total and 2 billion US dollars annual sales, winning the 2014 World Mobile Conference Award. Mrs. Yi Fang graduated from the Department of Electronical Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and National University of Singapore.
