With over 17 years of technology and startup experience, Felix is at the forefront of designing and developing large-scale distributed systems and customer-centric Internet software spanning Internet advertising, machine translation, and e-commerce industries.
Prior to becoming CTO and Co-Founder of Zola.com, Felix was the CTO/Co-Founder
of Host Committee, a startup focused on disrupting the nightlife industry. Felix served as a Lead Engineer at Gilt Groupe, heading up several teams including the woman's tech team and the customer excitement team. Before Gilt, he was the Lead Architect for SDL Language Weaver where he was instrumental in transitioning the company from an enterprise software company to a SaaS-based organization serving millions of translations a day. From 1998 to 2003, Felix was a critical piece to the DoubleClick DART adserver team, helping to build a business that served upwards of 2 billion ads a day. He started his career as a software engineer at Intel Corporation.
Felix holds a Bachelor's of Science and Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Cornell University.
