Franklin Moutos, PhD, Co-founder, Vice President, Technology Development, has broad experience in the application of textile and biomedical engineering principles to the development of biomaterial scaffolds for tissue regeneration. Through employment and collaboration with multiple start-up companies and research facilities over his career, Dr.
Moutos has been involved in the development of new technologies for the treatment of osteoarthritis and related degenerative joint diseases using various biomaterials, stem cells, and gene therapies. Dr. Moutos received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
