Prior to founding Chukong Technologies, Gary worked for Renren, often considered the Chinese equivalent to Facebook (NYSE: RENN), as one of the early employees, as well as video platform Youku (NYSE: YOKU).
Gary founded the
developer community CocoaChina in 2008 to provide information on iOS development to Chinese developers. The forum later became the foundation for Chukong Technologies' core business and continues to be the largest iOS developer community in the world.
