Gary Mize has served as a director of Gevo since September 2011 and is a member of the Company’s Audit Committee and the Company’s Compensation Committee. He brings a deep understanding of the agricultural markets and issues to Gevo’s board.
Gary has more than 35 years of experience in agribusiness, and has been exposed to and operated in
global agricultural markets.
Prior to his current position as partner and owner at MR & Associates, which he’s held since 2010, Gary was president of Rawhide Energy LLC, an ethanol company, and served as non-executive chairman at Ceres Global AG, a Canadian public company that serves as a vehicle for agribusiness investments.
He also has served as the chief operating officer and executive director of Noble Group, Hong Kong, was president of the Grain Processing Group at ConAgra Foods, Inc., president and CEO of ConAgra Malt and held various positions at Cargill, Inc.
Over the course of his career he has held expatriate positions in Switzerland, Brazil and Hong Kong.
Gary holds a BA in Business and Marketing from Michigan State University.
