Geoffroy started his professional career in 1996 at Mercer Management Consulting, as a consultant notably on pricing strategy, and primarily within the telecom, retail and banking industries. In 1998, he founded his first venture, Optitel, a phone bills comparator business. In 2000 Geoffroy co-founded Panoranet / Empruntis.com. With only €1.8m
funding, he developed the company through an LBO with 3i and then sold it to COVEA for €100m in February 2008. The company had at the time 300 employees, a €20m turnover and a €6m EBIT. He also was an LP of Aurinvest Capital 2 and a member of HEC foundation’s board, during 2 years. In 2012, Geoffroy co-raised and managed Aurinvest Capital 3, a €22m entrepreneur fund (seed and early stage tech). Between 2007 and 2011, as a business angel, Geoffroy invested in and coached many entrepreneurs. Geoffroy is also an early member of the international association, French Founders. Geoffroy graduated from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC 1996) in Paris.
