George A. Gates MD: Founder, Chief Medical Officer, Board Member. Dr. Gates is a nationally recognized clinician and medical researcher in otology, with substantial experience in the diagnosis and treatment of otitis media. Dr. Gates is an otolaryngologist and neurotologist, and is currently an Emeritus Professor at the University of Washington
(UW) and former director of the Virginia Merrill Bloedel Hearing Research Center at the UW. In his career, he has authored over 220 peer-reviewed published research reports, review articles, and clinical concepts in Otology/Neurotology. Dr. Gates is the inventor of our technology.
