George has been the lead software architect of DataCore’s storage virtualization product since the inception of the company in 1998 with 12 employees at Encore Compute, and leads a geographically dispersed technical development team. George was instrumental in ensuring that the company developed an MVP to receive nearly 8 million dollars from angel
investors and venture capital firms NEA and Flagship Ventures in January, 1999, and $30 million of venture capital investment on May, 2008 from Insight Ventures and Updata Partners. DataCore customers include Continnum Healthcare, Kaspersky Lab, and the SNCF. George has a Master’s degree in computer science from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria.
