Gerald Pollak is Investor at 3VC, a European venture capital fund investing in the most ambitious teams in DACH, CEE, Baltics and Southern Europe at product-market fit (Late Seed & Series A). He focuses on AI, Automation, Data Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Developer Tools.
Previously, Gerald was the co-founder and CEO of Blocktorch, an
observability platform for the decentralized stack, which was acquired by thirdweb in 2024. With the perspective of both a founder and an investor, Gerald brings deep founder empathy, technical understanding, and a Europe-wide network to help early-stage companies scale.
Gerald holds an MSc in Management from London Business School and an MSc in International Business from Fudan University in Shanghai. He is also a self-taught developer and a former national team rower.
