Gerri Kahnweiler, a noted philanthropic leader and active civic engagement official, founded InvestHER in April 2016. Gerri has invested in and promoted the well-being and potential of women and girls through her commitment to philanthropy, highlighted by her 15-year involvement with the Jewish Women's Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago. Her
tenure at the JWF has culminated in her current position as Chairwoman of the fund, as well as the representative to the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation-Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago. In addition to her philanthropic ventures, Gerri has served her own community as an elected official. She is currently serving her second terms as a Winnetka Park Board Commissioner and as a New Trier Township Trustee.
