Mr. Bogden is a Director of Avanti, and a retired investment banker and corporate director.
He is currently Chairman of the Board for Volta Resources Inc (since 2001), Director for Royal Gold Inc (since 2011), Director for Camino Minerals (since 2010), and Chairman of the Board of NexGen Energy (since 2012).
Mr. Bogden has over 30 years
experience as a senior executive, investment banker and geoscientist. He concluded his career as an investment banker as Vice Chairman of Mining & Metals for Standard Chartered Bank, having been a co-founder and Managing Partner of Gryphon Partners Canada Inc, and a senior investment banker with National Bank Financial Inc, Beacon Group Advisors Inc., Newcrest Capital Inc., NM Rothschild & Sons Canada Ltd., and CIBC Wood Gundy Securities.
Mr. Bogden holds a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science from Queen's University and earned his professional certificate as a Corporate Director from Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.
