Greg Tao is a Co-Founder and CTO at matter.io. Greg previously worked at OttoClave as a Co-Founder. He attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Greg leads technical development, overseeing the development of the Matter platform and core technologies. A mechanical engineer, he’s worked on a range of products from surgical staplers, to
pressure cooker autoclaves to the first iPad at Apple. He got his BS and MS from MIT where he pole vaulted had a series of unfortunate haircuts. When he’s not at the office, he’s dumpster diving for old bicycle parts.
