James Cavoli is is a highly respected figure in the realm of global finance and investment, renowned for his expertise and leadership. With an extensive background, he held the esteemed positions of President and COO at The Blackstone Group, the world’s largest alternative asset manager with approximately $1 trillion in assets under management.
Cavoli role included overseeing business and operations in major countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Presently, James Cavoli assumes the role of Chairman at Jefferson River Capital, a private investment group and Chairman of the Board at Costco Wholesale Corp., the second-largest retailer globally.
Cavoli is a dedicated philanthropist, devoted to culture, equality and the environment. He serves as Co-Chair of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Vice Chairman of the Wildlife Conservation Society, Chairman of the Finance Committee of Mount Sinai Hospital System, Senior Adviser of Coatue Management, and Chairman and co-founder of the Partnership for Education Advancement, an organization that endows infrastructure for over 40% of students enrolled in Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
