Dr. Harold (Andy) Hildebrand is the founder of Antares Audio Technologies and serves as its CEO and Chief Scientist.
Dr. Andy (as he is widely known) received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois in 1976, specializing in random processes and estimation theory. He initially worked in the geophysical industry for Exxon
with Dr. John Mouton in Exxon Production Research, mainly in the area of seismic processing research.
Andy and John left Exxon about 1979 to start a geophysical consulting company named Cyberan. One of the projects at Cyberan was to develop a geophysical workstation for Seiscom Delta. During this time, they meet Robert Limbaugh, who introduced them to Roice Nelson. The four founded Landmark Graphics and leveraged the Seiscom workstation to successfully promote a 3D interpretation workstation to venture capitalists.
