Hassane Slaibi graduated from AUB as a computer and communication engineer in 2009 and moved on to work in audio processing at NEC Corporation - Japan, and wireless sensor networks at CSIRO - Australia. In 2012, he co-founded Band Industries, a music-tech company that launched its first product - Roadie Tuner - Kickstarter after an intensive 111
days in China attending the Haxlr8r hardware accelerator program. Roadie tripled its crowdfunding goal in January 2014, raising $178,000 in 40 days and has been steadily growing since its September 2014 launch. Band Industries won the won TechCrunch Disrupt NY 2014 Audience Choice Award, London Design awards, and got featured in Executive Magazine's top 20 in Science and Technology and Entrepreneur Magazine's 100 Brilliant Companies for 2014.
