Hank joined the WindSail team in 2018 as an Operating Partner. He has over 30 years of experience in the pulp, paper and packaging sectors and is the former CEO and COO of Wausau Paper. He has served in multiple general management roles, as the CFO for both public and private companies, and brings significant experience in the operational
execution and integration of transactions as well as broad experience in manufacturing and corporate governance. Prior to Wausau Paper he was with the James River, Fort James, Georgia Pacific, Packaging Dynamics and Atlas Holdings.
He is an advisor and director to several of WindSail’s portfolio companies, including Genera Energy and Crate Modular Solutions. Hank served twenty years as an officer in the U.S. Army and the National Guard. He is Chairman of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and a Director for the Little Rapids Corporation. He received a BSBA from the University of Florida and an MBA from Wake Forest University. He and his wife live in Mosinee, Wisconsin and have four adult children and three grandchildren.
