Howard (second generation ownership) officially joined DUMAC as the 18th employee on May 1, 1979 after graduating from Broome Community College with an AAS degree in Marketing Sales. During the past 37 years, Howard has been instrumental in the growth and success of DUMAC and spearheaded DUMAC's entry into the hospitality industry in 1982.
While operating in the Quick Service and Hospitality vertical, DUMAC grew to over 300 full-time employees across the United States. Howard led the successful transfer of the Quick Service vertical to NCR Corporation, Inc. in 2021.
Howard has served on numerous industry and manufacturers advisory boards.
Outside of DUMAC, if there is such a thing, Howard is very active with several local charities. Howard resides in Syracuse with his wife. They have three adult children and now six grandchildren. Howard enjoys many outdoor activities including deep-sea fishing.
