Lin is Chief Scientific Officer and co-Founder of Forkhead Bio. She brings a decade of drug discovery and early clinical development experience from Merck (MSD) and Eli Lilly. Her scientific focus has been on studying integrative physiology in order to find novel treatments for diabetes and co-morbidities, including obesity and cardiovascular
diseases. She is experienced in driving small-molecule and large-molecule programs from target selection, lead identification and optimization, predictive biomarker selection, design and execution of non-human primate studies, FHD-enabling toxicology assessment, to IND filings and Phase 1 clinical trials. She was a founding member of Metabolic Disease R&D site for Eli Lilly in Shanghai where she played a leading role in building capabilities and managing the portfolio for the site.
Lin holds a BS in biology from Peking University and a PhD in molecular cellular and developmental biology from the University of Michigan, and conducted her postdoctoral training at Columbia University.
