Isaac R. Nassi, also known as Ike, is the Founder of TidalScale Inc. and has been its Chief Technology Officer since April 19, 2016. Isaac Nassi served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TidalScale Inc. until April 19, 2016. He also is a Trustee at The Computer History Museum. He is chairman of Landmark Networks, where he is involved with
architecture and implementation of wireless mesh networks. He is also entrepreneur in residence at Allegis Capital, where he helps analyze companies seeking venture capital. Previously, he was director of engineering at Cisco Systems, vice president of product operations and chief technology officer at InfoGear Technology Corporation and senior vice president at Apple Computer. Prior to working at Apple, he helped start Encore Computer Corporation. He also worked at Visual Technology, Digital Equipment Corporation and SofTech Inc. Isaac Nassi has been a visiting scholar at Stanford University, a research affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology an d a visiting scholar in electrical engineering and computer science at the University of California, Berkeley. He serves as Chairman of TidalScale Inc. since April 19, 2016. He was a member of the Federal Networking Council advisory committee of the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Council on Competitiveness advisory committee, the board of directors of Congregation Beth David (Saratoga, California) and the board of advisors of HyperBanner, Inc. He holds a Certificate for Distinguished Service from the U.S. Department of Defense for his design work on the programming language Ada. He served for six years as a member of the Advanced Research Projects Agency's Information Systems and Technology group, which advised ARPA on information science research priorities. Isaac Nassi holds an M.S. and a Ph.D. in computer science, and a B.S. in mathematics from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook.
