Jacinta has a voracious curiosity and is always seeking out the most difficult questions to solve. Prior to founding Seek Sophie, Jacinta worked as a corporate M&A lawyer at Linklaters, a top corporate global law firm. There, she worked on ground-breaking transactions such as the administration of Lehman Brothers, and the Glencore $10BN IPO.
After Linklaters, Jacinta was an Executive at MicroEnsure, an insurtech company headquartered in the UK with 40 million customers in 10 countries in UK, Africa and Asia.
Jacinta started Seek Sophie to solve a pain point that she had as a traveller: the difficulty of finding off-the-beaten-track experiences and how convoluted the planning and booking process for such experiences were. She wanted to make it easier for herself and for other travellers because she believes that such travel has changed her life and can change the lives of local communities. Through Seek Sophie, Jacinta hopes to make magical travel experiences more accessible to travellers everywhere and in doing so, also help local communities in places which could most benefit from such travel spending.
