James S. Kahan has been a director of Amdocs since April 1998. From 1983 until his June 2007 retirement, he worked at SBC, which is now AT&T, and served as a Senior Executive Vice President from 1992 until June 2007. AT&T is our most significant customer. Prior to joining AT&T, James Kahan held various positions at several
telecommunications companies, including Western Electric, Bell Laboratories, South Central Bell and AT&T Corp.
James Kahan also serves on the board of directors of Live Nation Entertainment, Inc., the world’s largest live music and ticketing entity, and Frontier Communication Corporation, the largest U.S. provider of rural communication services.
James Kahan long service at SBC and AT&T, as well as his management and financial experience at several public and private companies, have provided him with extensive knowledge of the telecommunications industry, particularly with respect to corporate development, mergers and acquisitions and business integration.
