Dr. Posada is a co-founder and CEO of Resolve Therapeutics.
Since 2006 Dr. Posada has been the President and founder of Posada & Associates, Inc., a life sciences consulting firm formed to address the need of early stage biotech companies for experienced business and deal-making leadership. During this period Dr. Posada completed several
notable partnering transactions on behalf of his clients.
Prior to founding Posada & Associates Dr. Posada was the Senior Vice President of Business and Market Development for GlycoFi, Inc., a biotechnology company spun out of Dartmouth College. During his tenure at GlycoFi, Dr. Posada structured and negotiated company transforming deals with Eli Lilly & Co. and Merck & Co., and was instrumental in the 2006 sale of the company to Merck.
Prior to GlycoFi Dr. Posada was with Eli Lilly & Company, serving on the management team of the therapeutic proteins division, a 300 person biotech R&D component within Lilly. In this role Dr. Posada had direct line responsibility for R&D scientists and led numerous discovery projects from concept to clinical candidate, with several programs reaching clinical development, including LY2127399, Lilly's phase III anti-BAFF antibody in clinical development for lupus. Prior to Eli Lilly Dr.
Posada was a tenure track assistant professor at the University of Vermont Medical School where he established an NIH funded basic research laboratory doing work in the area or MAP kinases and cell signaling. Dr. Posada was an NIH post-doctoral fellow at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center where his work identified one of the first MAP kinases, ERK2, and worked out the upstream activation pathway for this central growth control pathway.
Dr. Posada is the author of over two dozen peer-reviewed publications in top tier journals such as Science and the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
