Jim Ross was previously a product development engineer for Advanced Micro Devices and the co-founder of Nanogrip Technologies, maker of micro-scale devices used to manipulate MEMs components. He has over 7 years experience in MEMS fabrication, analog circuit design, and neural interfacing technology. During his tenure at the Microelectronics
Research Center and the Laboratory for Neuroengineering, he was instrumental in producing over a dozen critically enabling technologies for the manipulation and sensing of neural tissue (many of which are patent pending). Dr. Ross received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
