James Tagg British Technology Developer/Writer James Tagg has been awarded a coveted place on the Kirkus Reviews Best Indie Books of 2015 for his book on artificial intelligence. Tagg's book, Are the Androids Dreaming Yet? Is an accessible examination of the capacity of the human brain vs computers that addresses the key questions of
whether computers will ever be smarter than people (the Turing Test) and if the human brain is itself a quantum computer.
Tagg is an inventor and entrepreneur. A pioneer of touchscreen technology, he has founded several companies, including Truphone, the world’s first global mobile network. He holds numerous patents, filed in over a hundred countries. He studied Physics and Computer Science at Manchester University, Design at Lancaster University and Engineering at Cambridge University. He lives with his family on a farm in Kent, England
