James Tauber is an Australian entrepreneur and technologist living in Boston and is currently CEO and CTO of Eldarion, Inc.
An early pioneer in Web technologies, he was invited to the original working group that developed XML and participated in numerous standards initiatives in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2000, Network World magazine
named him one of "50 on power's edge."
He has been a long-time open source developer and is a well-known figure in the Python community.
He is the lead developer of Pinax, an open source, Django-based platform that is the basis for his latest company.
