Janica Alvarez is the co-founder and CEO of Naya Health, responsible for company leadership, product vision and strategy, and operations and manufacturing excellence. Beginning with reinventing the breast pump and bottle, Janica’s mission for Naya Health is to create better experiences for moms through a range of early-infant nutritional products
and services.
Prior to Naya Health, Janica spent 10-plus years leading teams in healthcare and clinical research, including at biotech giants Genentech and Gilead Sciences. She was responsible for the launch and management of the review and approval by the FDA of a dozen revenue-generating oncology and HIV therapies in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Janica holds multiple patents and has a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Weber State University and studied Clinical Bioethics at Union Graduate College and Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
