Jason Martell is an entrepreneur and cofounder of multiple companies, all specializing in the tech space. He is extremely well-versed in UX design, UI, and mobile, creative, and interactive technology. Through his work in these areas, he has made his mark and been instrumental in the development on numerous applications, from building disruptive
fintech products to creating gaming engines. He is especially adept at leading start-up teams and architecting new online or social platforms. With a strong interest and personal passion for UX design, he has a knack for identifying potential user issues and implementing strategies to correct them.
Jason has brought his skills and knowledge to the table in the creation of not one but two groundbreaking apps within the FinTech market. He was a key player in bringing Acorns.com, the micro-investing platform that allows people to begin investing in their future with their spare change, to life. Following the success they saw with Acorns.com, Jason Martell collaborated again with most of the same co-founding team he worked with during his time at Acorns.com to create a product that would bring gaming and finance together in a whole new twist on “gamefication” called Blast.
Blast, released in March of 2018, was created with the goal of helping the more than 2.6 billion gamers all across the world save and win money while playing the games they already play and love. As a team of gamers themselves, they’ve poured countless hours into studying history and researching trends to help make the product as user-friendly and fun as possible. Early last year in 2017, they brought in more gaming fanatics including grandmaster gamers and the top tech talents available to bring real-world benefits to these already beloved games and help gamers save for their future. Founded on the belief that saving money and building wealth should be easy and fun, it was the goal of Jason Martell and the entire team to marry together the worlds of gaming and finance.
On top of helping users save their own money, Blast also offers gamers the opportunity to win money as well. While the app started by simply triggering users’ money into their own personal Blast savings account, it evolved into ways that gamers could earn cash dividends by completing in-game missions and landing on leaderboards that could give them a chance to win up to $10,000 each week.
Outside of his work and gaming and FinTech, Jason Martell has been involved in a number of different ventures. He served as the Lead User Experience Designer at Technicolor for nearly two years. Jason was also a co-founder and Chief Creative Officer for GodTube.com, the world’s largest Christian video site with more than 40 million registered users.
Alongside his work in UX, FinTech, and gaming tech, Jason Martell is also highly active in his own personal research that digs into and researches ancient technologies and alien artifacts. For more than 20 years, Jason has distinguished himself as a researcher, lecturer, and expert in the field. He is currently in the process of planning several groundbreaking international research expeditions to uncover hidden artifacts around the globe.
