Jasper is a former entrepreneur and has been actively investing as a venture capital partner since 2015, specialising in B2B software applications, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge technologies. Since 2015, Jasper has invested in more than 20 companies across Europe, US and Israel. Jasper's passion for entrepreneurship
and technology has deeper roots. Before his commitment to a full-time investor, he was a solo founder who bootstrapped his global business to several millions of revenue in just a few years, and eventually sold it to a publishing group. During his early days at BCG's corporate finance team, Jasper experienced how to buy and sell global businesses. Jasper supported Professor Malte Brettel setting up the well-regarded Centre for Entrepreneurship at RWTH Aachen University and coached technical founders and researchers. Born into a merchant family in Bremen, Jasper’s academic journey led him to England, Spain, and Latin America. He has earned two degrees in Business Administration from Lancaster University Management School and ESB Business School in Germany. Beyond his company creations, Jasper is known for his extensive Lego collection adorning his desk at home. Driven by an excitement to build new things, this tech aficionado is always keen to engage in discussions about science fiction, video gaming, and the comparative merits of combustion and electric engines.
