After working in new product development at L’Oreal and marketing at MilliporeSigma, I started my own company, Vivid Microscopy LLC. This company is licensing and commercializing two patents, US7820833 and US8927291, from Dr. Daniel Sem’s lab at Marquette. From these patents, three products have been synthesized. Vivid is in the process of
validating its research-grade level of product. The products that are derived from these patents will help researchers better understand a wide variety of diseases from cancer to Alzheimer’s and aid in the discovery of new treatments.
