Jeff Kleiner founded Kleiner Device Labs in 2013 to solve the day-to-day frustrations of surgeons like him. During more than 25 years of practice (before retiring in 2016), he conducted over 6,000 spinal surgeries. Jeff graduated with honors from Stanford University, received his MD from the University of Colorado, and completed his surgical
internship at Rush University in Chicago. He was a NIH postdoctoral fellow at the University of California at San Diego before returning to Colorado in 1991 to specialize in reconstructive spinal surgery at the Colorado Spine Center.
