Jeff focuses on a broad array of industries and investment types, and his breadth of experience provides Highlander with the expertise to structure, finance, and manage successful transactions. As Managing Partner, Jeff focuses on day-to-day operations of the firm and management of the investment professionals and marketing strategies for the firm.
He also is a member of the firm’s management and investment committee, which approves transactions in North America and Central Europe.
Jeff joined Highlander in 2009. Prior to Highlander, he most recently served as Vice-Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Equipment and Supply Corporation (SESC), one of the largest providers in the United States of design services, equipment and supplies for the foodservice industry. SESC operated 10 facilities in six states achieving $300 million in annual revenues. Previous to SESC, he was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Atrium Companies Inc., one of the largest building product manufacturers in the United States, with annual revenues of approximately $800 million. Atrium had approximately 7,000 employees with 56 facilities in 26 states with facilities also located in Mexico and China. Prior to Atrium, Jeff held management positions with AmVestors Financial Corporation (NYSE: AMV) and Deloitte & Touche.
