Jeff White has over 25 years of experience building and investing in early stage companies. Before Gainspeed, Jeff was President of Hatteras Networks where he was instrumental in the company’s redirection and growth prior to its merger with Overture. Prior to Hatteras, Jeff was Executive Vice President of Strategy, Sales, Marketing, and Business
Development for Cognio. Jeff drove the strategic relationship with Cisco, which led to its acquisition of Cognio.
Previously, Jeff held key executive leadership positions and transformational roles at Aruba Networks (IPO), Packet Engines, which was acquired by Alcatel, and FORE Systems (IPO). Jeff was also a Partner at Columbia Capital where he served as a Member of the Board of Directors or observer on six investments, including Hatteras Networks, Ocular Networks and CoManage. He has served or serves as an advisor to numerous companies.
Jeff holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
