Jeremy Korst is the general manager of Microsoft’s Windows Commercial group, responsible for the worldwide product marketing and sales of Windows to organizations. Korst and his team were responsible for the launch of Windows 10, driving marketing, brand and sales of Windows in a goal to reach a billion people. His team partners with product
engineering to help transform businesses through differentiated product offerings using competitive customer and market insights, through to the launch and sustainment through global sales and marketing campaigns. Korst is a seasoned marketing professional with experience covering an array of disciplines. He spent five years at T-Mobile where he served as Vice President and General Manager of Marketing, including leading the company’s high-growth mobile broadband and emerging devices business. Prior to that, he was Microsoft’s Worldwide Marketing Lead for Enterprise services, and led Business Management for Microsoft Exchange Server. Jeremy has also held leadership positions in marketing, product management and finance at AT&T Wireless, Standard & Poor’s and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Korst also serves on several boards, including the Board of Trustees for the University of Puget Sound, the Executive Education Advisory Board of the Wharton School, and is on the Board of Advisors for Ultra Mobile, named as the fastest growing private company in 2015 by Inc. Magazine. He has served on Intel’s Communications Advisory Board, the IT Services Marketing Association Board of Directors, the CTIA workgroup on Emerging Devices, and as former Chair of the Seattle Metrocenter YMCA Board of Managers. Korst received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania as a Palmer Scholar, and his BA from the University of Puget Sound.
