Jesse Lund (born March 20, 1970 Newport Beach, California) is an American Entrepreneur, CEO and founder of Sprocket Financial. Jesse Lund was the former Global VP of Blockchain and Digital Currencies at IBM. Sprocket Financial is a new banking experience that blends conventional banking with cryptocurrencies, digital assets, and decentralised
finance. During 1989-1992 Jesse completed Business Administration in Finance from Pepperdine University. In 2018 he did his doctoral studies from Duke University, North Carolina.
During March 2006 - 2007 he was the Senior Vice President of Technology at Union Bank in California. March 2007 - 2010 he was assigned as Senior Vice President of Wells Fargo Private Bank, San Francisco. Jan 2017 - 2019 he was elected as the Vice President of IBM Blockchain. In 2021 he became the CEO of Sprocket Financial. Formerly the Global VP of Blockchain and Digital Currencies at IBM, Jesse has a unique, multidisciplinary view of Fintech. He sits on several boards and continues to advise financial institutions, non-profits, regulators, and central banks around the world to promote financial stability, financial inclusion, and develop new market opportunities.

Prior to IBM, Jesse had a long tenure with Wells Fargo where held a wide range of executive roles within Community Banking, Commercial Banking, Payments Services, Wealth Management, Risk Management, Information Technology, and Research & Development.
