Jieyi Long is the co-founder and CTO of Theta Labs and Theta EdgeCloud, a leading blockchain-powered decentralized cloud for AI, media and entertainment. Jieyi is the co-inventor and holds o10+ patents in blockchain, AI, edge computing, and video streaming. He also co-authored 30+ research papers in these areas. He received a B.S. degree in
Microelectronics from Peking University in Beijing, China. He also received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL where he conducted research in mathematical modeling and algorithms to optimize large scale electronics systems. Many of which are finding their way into the Theta EdgeCloud platform.
