Other clients and searches included the Chief Financial Officer of Derivion acquired by Metavante; Chief Technology Officer of Eastern Research acquired by Sycamore Networks; and the Vice President of Marketing at Bay Packets acquired by Genband. Prior to Korn/Ferry, Jill Peters served as an Executive Director in the Communications Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates where she completed senior level searches for Cable & Wireless including the Chief Executive Officer of Panama, Chief Executive Officer of the Caribbean, and Global Chief Technology Officer. She was instrumental in the development of the firm's international communications practice serving 7 major global communications clients. As a Consultant & Research Associate at Paul Ray Berndtson, Jill Peters successfully placed the President of Power Generation, the Chief Financial Officer, and a Board Member at LG&E Energy as well as the Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Marketing, and Vice President of Engineering & Operations at BellSouth. Prior to entering the executive search profession, Jill Peters held various positions at Interserv, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Merck & Company.
